....More about KC Johns!
KC Johns is a 20-year-old country music singer and
songwriter from Hernando, MS. She released her self-
written, debut album “Tell Me You Love Me” in 2009. KC
performs throughout the nation in response to her album’s
success.
KC’s passion for country music was prevalent at a very
young age. At the age of 3, KC would climb on her mother’s
coffee table and sing "Achy Breaky Heart" to her family. At
age 8, KC knew she was destined to share her talent through singing
and songwriting, after her mother took her to see the Grand Ole Opry.
Even today, her main goal is to sing a duet with George Strait at the
Opry. KC’s main musical influences are George Strait, Shania Twain,
Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. Her favorite music is Country and
Christian.
KC has been a barrel racer all her life, but recently stopped 2 years ago
to pursue her dream in music. She danced for the Janice McAfee
School of Dance for 15 years and was a cheerleader for the “Vipers.”
For 3 years, KC sang and played guitar in her youth praise band at
Lifepoint Church. She currently attends Northwest Community College and
majors in Medical Office Technology, but KC makes her mark on the world
by singing, playing the guitar, writing, and making a difference with her
music.
